ASAP Rocky, real name Rakim Athelaston Mayers, is a rapper and record producer from the United States. He was born on October 3, 1988. He received his stage name from being a part of the hip-hop group ASAP Mob.
Online leaks in August 2011 resulted in Rocky’s song “Peso” receiving radio play within a few weeks. The mixtape Live. Love, by Rocky, was made public. His Early Life
Rakim Athelaston Mayers was born in Manhattan, New York City’s Harlem district. His father is a Barbadian native. Erika, his older sister, is also his older brother. The names Eric B. & Rakim and Rakim are both drawn from them. Another member of the ASAP Mob, ASAP Nast, is his cousin.
At the age of nine, Mayers relocated to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, and began rapping. A$AP was charged with an assault misdemeanor and a misdemeanor on August 31, 2014, after reportedly slapping a woman at a music festival.
