Following a physical struggle with her that resulted in many cuts to the right side of her mouth, Farrah Abraham’s mother was taken into custody and charged with assault in January 2010. As it was the first time she intervened to stop the physical abuse, Farrah considers this to be a turning moment in her life.
Farrah was detained in Nebraska in March 2013 on charges of driving while intoxicated. She later entered a guilty plea in June to avoid going to jail. Her punishment included a $500 fine, six months of court-ordered sobriety testing, and a six-month probationary period.
