Karol G is the stage name of Colombian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Carolina Giraldo Navarro. Early Life
The youngest of three siblings, Karol G was born on February 14, 1991, as Carolina Giraldo Navarro in Medellin, Colombia. She entered the Colombian “The X Factor” competition at the age of 14 when she experienced her first taste of widespread popularity. Career
Karol G released songs including “En La Playa,” “Por Ti,” “Dime Que Si,” and “Mil Maneras” after securing her record deal. She sang background vocals for several musicians while she was a student at the University of Antioquia, most notably the reggaeton vocalist Reykon. Later, when Karol G showed up wearing a diamond wedding ring at the Billboard Latin Music Awards in April 2019, it was revealed that the duo was engaged. However, Anuel AA revealed that his relationship with Karol G was over in April 2021.
Anuel had disclosed their breakup during an Instagram Live he held in April. According to his statement, it appears that the couple decided to separate because they had different life goals. They have a decent friendship despite this.
At the time, he stated: “The truth is that we’re not together. The times that people have seen us together are because we still love each other. We tried to recover what was lost but we took different paths. May God bless her and that she continues to achieve her dreams and goals.”

On Sunday night in Puerto Rico, Karol G and her ex-fiance Anuel AA shared their first stage time together since calling off their engagement earlier in the year. It also marked the conclusion of her Bitchota tour.
The “Tusa” singer, 30, posted a series of pictures with her ex, 29, backstage, and expressed her appreciation for him on Monday 29th November 2021, stating that she didn’t know how to express the moment in Spanish.
“100,000 thoughts passed through my head about what was, what we lived together and how things transpired,” Karol wrote. “We had a lot of happy years together and although that stage in our lives is over, the loyalty and gratitude remain.”
“You are a brilliant person. I will always admire you,” she added. “Thank you for making last night more special @anuel.”
