The name everyone is familiar with is Mia Sara. But the actual name of the former daughter-in-law of the late legendary actor, Sean Connery, is Mia Sarapochiello. From the name, you could argue that she is Italian or Spanish.

Mia Sarapochiello, popularly regarded as Mia Sara, was born in Brooklyn Heights, New York, on June 19, 1967. Her mother, Diana, is a stylish and photographer. Her father, on the other hand, is also a photographer. Sara’s family was invested in the Roman Catholic tradition as her parents were of Italian descent.

So it was only normal that they practised what they were born into. Mia had her early education at St. Ann’s School in New York. She had always wanted to be an actress from a tender age, and when the opportunity came, she grabbed with both hands.

Mia started her acting career by getting her first role as a princess in Ridley Scott’s fairytale film Legend. But it was her role as Ferris Bueller’s girlfriend, Sloane Peterson, that blew her up and made her even more famous.

Sara didn’t give up on finding love as she met Brian Henson, popular Muppets creator, Jim Henson. Brian, too, is an actor. They also met after a failed audition by Sara. They fell in love and married in 2010. Since then, there has not been any rumour of a divorce or a breakup.
