Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles Amped-up Romance and Amazing Facts To Know About Them

Fans were shocked by Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles’ quick courtship, which started when they crossed paths on the set of Don’t Worry, Darling.

When they were pictured holding hands at Styles’ manager’s wedding in January 2021, the couple garnered media attention. At the time, a source exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that the twosome’s collaboration ignited a relationship.

“Harry and Olivia had chemistry almost instantaneously on set,” the insider said. “It was only a matter of time before they got together.”

Two months after she broke up with her fiancé Jason Sudeikis and three months after Styles joined her film, Wilde began dating the British singer. Son Otis and daughter Daisy were born to Sudeikis and the Booksmart director, who have been married for more than ten years.

When news of the couple initially broke, a source told Us that Styles was not the cause of the House alum and Ted Lasso actor’s breakup. “Harry did not break up an engagement,” the source said.

Even though Styles stayed out of Wilde and Sudeikis’ way, the new couple initially made an effort to keep their relationship under wraps on set.

Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles

“Olivia and Harry were able to keep their relationship under wraps for a bit before it became public knowledge,” an insider told Us in January 2021. “They were very careful about it and even sleuthy at times, although the small group of people who were on set with them every day eventually figured it out.”

Along with Florence Pugh, Chris Pine, Gemma Chan, KiKi Layne, and Nick Kroll, the psychological thriller features a 1950s housewife as its main character.

Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles met again in London after production was finished in February 2021, where they relished some alone time.

“People tend to respect people’s privacy in London, so they probably feel comfortable walking around by themselves and don’t feel like they need a bodyguard,” an insider told Us in April 2021.

During their trip to London, the couple was “spotted at local pubs.” “They were walking close to each other and had their arms linked together,” added an insider, who bumped into the duo on one of their casual strolls. “They seemed very couply and cuddly with one another.”

The actress from Life Itself publicly supported her boyfriend’s music and acting professions as their relationship grew more passionate. She “obviously” watched his Eternals performance, which she mentioned in an Instagram comment, and even danced at several “Love on Tour” events with her children and his mother, Anne.

According to a witness who spoke exclusively to Us about Wilde’s participation at the musician’s October 2021 tour stop in New York City, “Olivia was nonstop dancing on the floor at Harry’s show at Madison Square Garden.”

A source informed Us that Wilde and Styles were still together despite being apart because of their individual job commitments. “They’re not nervous about spending time apart, it adds to the attraction when they reunite after some time off,” the insider said. “Both of them are secure and positive about what the future holds for them.”

Even when the “As It Was” singer embarks on tour, the couple has figured out ways to make sure they spend time together. The source continued, “Harry is excited about his tour but bummed it’ll take him away from Olivia for a while.” “But she’ll come to a few of the gigs and they’re planning on making fun little trips in various cities when she can take a break herself.”

Styles was asked to explain the Harry’s House song “Cinema,” which many fans assume is about Wilde and which deals with the sensation of not being “cool” enough for your spouse, during an interview on the “Spout” podcast.

When the presenter said they couldn’t see somebody being “too cool” for someone like Styles, the singer retorted,  “I think it’s, like, when you like someone, that initial phase. Am I doing things right? Before you get comfortable with each other and it’s kinda, like, all of that stuff happens at the start of something,” he said, seemingly referring to his current relationship with Wilde.

The remainder of the broadcast featured a replay of Styles’ May 2022 conversation with Stern, during which the “Golden” singer was asked about what it was like to “fall in love” on a set. Styles cautiously remarked, “I had a lovely experience being directed by Olivia. “It’s a gift to be able to trust your director.”
