Saweetie began dating rapper Quavo of the hip-hop group Migos in September 2018. A few years later, after disclosing Quavo’s infidelity, she made an online announcement that they were breaking up. Later, a video of the two engaged in a violent altercation appeared online.

There is a new love in Sweeties’s life, it seems! The 28-year-old rapper teased a new love interest on Instagram before Valentine’s Day. Saweetie posted a picture of herself kissing a man’s forehead, but the male had his back on the camera. She included a shushing emoji in the photo’s text.

Later, she shared a picture of a man who appears to be different. The image showed a shirtless man encircling a Saweetie wearing a bikini; it was cropped so that his face was hidden. She later put suspicions to rest saying that the photographs were related to her upcoming music video for the tune “Closer” with H.E.R.

Most notably, from 2018 until 2021, Saweetie was connected to the artist Quavo. Following their split, the rapper was said to have dated Roddy Ricch after being spotted sitting next to him at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game in October 2021, which she denied; Lil’ Baby in November 2021, which he denied; and Damson Idris in November 2021 after he posted a video of Saweetie playing the piano for him. In a recent interview with GQ, Idris dispelled the dating rumors by clarifying that they are simply friends and that he is single.

However, she previously informed POPSUGAR that if you do take your shot with Saweetie,  “My ideal first date is probably the arcade. I need to know that this person is fun because I’m really fun and I want to have fun. And don’t let me beat you, I like a challenge.”
