The sci-fi action comedy Pixels featured her alongside Adam Sandler, Michelle Mohaghan, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Gad.

From 2016 to 2017, Shea played Lucy opposite Erinn Hayes, Taylor Spreitler, Ryan Cartwright, and Gary Valentine in the CBS sitcom Kevin Can Wait. Beginning on September 19, 2016, the program ran till May 7, 2018.
