Sheila Tamar Rathbone was born in Israel on October 21, 1987, with the horoscope sign of Scorpio. She has a sister named Melani and was born to Eyal Hafsadi and Graciela Benito.

The son of Monroe Jackson Rathbone IV and Randee Lynn Brauner, Monroe Jackson Rathbone V was born in Singapore on December 14, 1984. He has three sisters, one of whom is Kelly Rathbone, a potter. Being descended from the Liverpool-based Rathbone family, he is distantly related to both English actor Basil Rathbone and Civil War general Stonewall Jackson.

Monroe Jackson Rathbone II, his great-grandfather, was the chairman of Standard Oil, which eventually changed its name to Exxon. He lived in Singapore, Norway, and Indonesia before relocating to Midland, Texas, as a result of his father’s employment as a Mobil Oil representative moving the family around.

Rathbone started out in the local theater with the Pickwick Players children’s actors program, initially playing musical theater. He later attended Trinity School of Midland. He has appeared in cameos on Close to Home and The O.C. He appeared in the movies Travis and Henry, Pray for Morning, and Molding Clay.

He was cast as Nicholas Fiske in the ABC Family original series Beautiful People in 2005. He said in an interview in 2008 that it was his first main part and the hardest one for him to get into. In Criminal Minds, Rathbone portrayed Adam and Amanda.

He portrayed Jasper Hale in the 2008 movie Twilight, which was adapted from Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling book of the same name.
