Early Life
Tera Patrick was born as Linda Ann Hopkins on July 25, 1976, in Great Falls, Montana, to a Thai mother and a European father. Linda’s life changed dramatically when she was ten years old when her mother abandoned the family and left her with her father.

After two years of weekend classes at the Barbizon Modeling and Acting School, she went into modeling. During one of her first photoshoots, the photographer sexually assaulted her and was the first person to introduce her to Valium and alcohol. Soon, she became addicted to the drug and spent all she had on shopping sprees.
When her father discovered she was sexually active, he notified the agency. Patrick returned to the United States at sixteen, as a washed-up model. She received her GED at eighteen, studied nursing for a semester at Boise State University, and then got EMT certification from a local vocational school.
Career
Patrick began her modelling career at fourteen. After she earned her certification, she starred in the magazines” Playboy” and “Penthouse” and became the “Pet of the Month” in 2000. Over the next few years, Patrick appeared in several adult movies.
