Real Estate

Jeremy leads a relatively solitary life. When he’s not performing, he flips homes in Los Angeles and may have made more money from real estate than from his acting earnings. Up to this point, he has renovated about 25 houses in the Los Angeles area. Along with the advancement of homes, so has his career.

When Jeremy was nominated for an Academy Award for his role in “The Hurt Locker,” he was living in a tent in the master bedroom of one of his projects. He didn’t have running water or electricity the day he put on his suit to go to the wedding.

Jeremy first started flipping houses to support himself while he and his longtime friend Kristoffer Winters tried to get into Hollywood. In the early 2000s, they focused on affordable homes in the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, selling for between $500 and 600,000. The homes might be sold for $800,000 to $900,000 when flipped. Jeremy and Kristoffer sold one home for $24 million ten years later, in 2013.

After spending $7 million on the purchase price and $10 million on renovations, they made a total investment of $17 million on the home. The proceeds from the one sale totaled $7 million. The buyer was British property developer Christian Candy.

A six-acre Nevada property close to Lake Tahoe serves as Jeremy’s principal residential house, in part for taxation considerations. For $1.3 million, he purchased the estate in 2014, which includes a 6,000-square-foot home.

On January 1, 2023, while shoveling snow outside of this house, Jeremy was unintentionally run over by his 14,000-pound snowcat. Renner was involved in an accident that necessitated an evacuation to a hospital where he was admitted to an intensive care unit due to significant injuries and extreme blood loss. Jeremy has a residence in Los Angeles as well.

Jeremy Renner Net Worth

Renner married Canadian model Sonni Pacheo on January 13, 2014. The couple’s daughter, Ava Berlin, was born on March 28, 2013. Due to their “irreconcilable differences,” Pacheo announced that she was divorcing Renner in late December 2014. They both have the same daughter.

Renner allegedly threatened to shoot himself and put a gun in his mouth in 2019 according to Sonni Pacheo. He finally shot the rifle into the ceiling while his little daughter was in another part of the home.

Renner was requested by Pacheo to take a drug test in July 2020 to protect their child.

According to court documents, the actor, 49, was accused at the time the model, 29, claimed to have a “long history of alcohol and drug abuse which has persisted since before the parties’ marriage, through divorce and post-judgment,” She requested to see the results of a purported February drug test that Renner underwent, which he claims resulted in a negative finding.

Pacheo claims that Renner routinely invites “several young women” to go out with him and breaks the social distance restrictions. According to court documents, an anonymous Instagram user gave Pacheo a tip on Renner’s Fourth of July gathering at his residence in Lake Tahoe.

The documents state:  “In these messages, this person told me that Jeremy was having people over at his Reno house and that nobody was wearing masks. The above party sent me numerous Instagram posts showing people at Jeremy’s Reno house including several young women. This person also sent me screenshots of young women announcing they were in Lake Tahoe and wearing t-shirts that say “Camp Renner.” They are not wearing masks in the photos.”

The custody dispute between Renner and Pacheo is still ongoing. Renner vehemently disputed all allegations against him and said that his ex was only out to extort more money from him.

To get his support payments to Pacheo reduced, Jeremy asserted in September 2020 that COVID had reduced his income to “less than zero.” Renner estimated his own average net monthly income at close to $350,000 per month during better times, specifically between 2017 and 2019.
