Nicholas “Nick” Scott Lachey, son of Cathalyn and John Lackey, was born in Harlan, Kentucky, on November 9, 1973. Drew Lachey, a fellow musician, and actor, is his brother. Before continuing his study at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, he attended the School for Creative and Performing Arts in Cincinnati, Ohio.
