Trent Grandberry and Leslie Burrell welcomed their first child, Omari Ishmael, into the world on November 12, 1984 in Inglewood, California. The first of the couple’s seven kids, he is. His younger brother O’Ryan, who is also a musician and composer in his own right, is notable among his siblings.
