College Career
Jared Hawkins, the starting tailback for Vanderbilt, suffered a foot injury and missed the game against Western Carolina, thus Stacy got his first career start. Together with Warren Norman, Stacy racked up 240 yards on the ground. Two freshmen rushed for more than 100 yards in a single game for the first time in school history.
Zac Stacy was given the opportunity to start SEC games against LSU, Georgia, and Florida as a sophomore. Before suffering a head injury in the first half of the game against Florida, he was a productive attacking force for the Commodores. Professional Career
At the 2013 NFL Draft, Stacy was selected with the 160th overall pick in the fifth round. Stacy had one run for four yards and no receiving yards in his debut NFL game against the Arizona Cardinals. On October 6, 2013, he was given his first start against the Jacksonville Jaguars, however, a rib injury caused him to leave the game in the fourth quarter. With 14 carries for 78 yards, he was the game’s top rusher. On 18 carries in Week 6’s matchup with the Houston Texans, Stacy racked up 79 rushing yards.

Evans referred to her ex’s remarks to authorities as “disappointing… but not surprising” in a message posted on Instagram Monday night.
She went on: “Abusers often try to deny, deflect or justify their actions by placing blame on the victim and demoralizing them at the same time. This is just another form of abuse that survivors have to endure. It’s a terrifying reality knowing that my abuser will never see his wrongdoings. It’s a constant threat to my psyche and physical well-being. This is why it’s important to speak out. This is why I say no more silence against domestic violence.”
Evans has set up a GoFundMe campaign to aid victims of domestic abuse.

Charges of aggravated violence and criminal mischief are being pursued by Stacy, who is now free on bond. He was instructed to stay away from Florida except for court appearances.
Following his detention, Evans requested that the court rethink its decision to release the 30-year-old during a court hearing last month.
“I was slapped, punched, literally picked up and thrown into my TV,” Evans told the judge, News13 reports. “And then he picked me up and slammed me into my son’s bouncy seat by my throat…This was not the first time that he’s been violent with me. I am afraid for my safety and for my children’s safety.”
Evans’ plea was turned down by the judge, and Stacy was released after posting a $10,000 bond.
In the fifth round of the 2013 NFL Draft, the then-St. Louis Rams selected Stacy. Before being dealt to the Jets in 2015, the Vanderbilt product played for the team for two seasons.
